Dr Hamza Amira graduated in Egypt in 1982 and moved to Perth in 1983. He established Forest Lakes Medical Centre in 1991.
Interests include Women’s Health and Antenatal Care, Child Health, Adult General Medicine, Mental Health, Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident, treatment and rehabilitation, as well as sport and industrial medicine and rehabilitation.

Dr Ilham Al-Hakeem has been working at Forest Lakes Medical Centre since 2008 and has over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of general practice. She has a passion for primary health care with a focus on comprehensive care for your family. Her interests include Women’s Health, with her long experience in obstetric gynaecology, as well as Child Health, Immunisations, Mental Health, Chronic Disease Management and removal of Implanon and Mirena.
Dr Jennifer Smith

Dr Jenny Smith is a graduate of UWA and has been a GP at Forest Lakes Medical Centre since 2003. She covers all aspects of general practice, with a particular interest in women’s and children’s health. Dr Smith is also very involved in the education of medical students and GP registrars.
When not working, she is busy raising four children.
Dr Ajit Chaurasia

Dr Ajit Chaurasia has moved to our practice after working many years in country WA. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian General Practitioners College (RACGP) and is a certified cosmetic practitioner, certified in injecting Botulinum toxin and derma fillers.
He has extensive experience in all aspects of general medicine from working at a number of hospitals throughout Perth before moving to general practice.
His interests lie in cardiology, renal medicine, geriatric medicine, neurology, haematology, oncology and palliative care. He has a special interest in skin disease and skin surgery as well as aesthetic medicine.
Dr Chaurasia lives locally and has a busy family life with his wife and young children, but manages to fit in weekend cover for Katanning Hospital Emergency Department attending to acute medicine.
Dr Sandra Dobney

Dr Daniel Kim

Born in Western Australia but moving around a bit before ending back where it all began and graduating from UWA in 2011, Dr Daniel Kim is interested in providing the best care available, with special interest in family medicine, general medicine, cardiology/respiratory and kidney disease.
Enjoys watching terrible movies and visiting far away places.
Dr A Prashan Abeywardana

Dr Abeywardana completed his medical degree at UWA in 2009. Since then he has had a decade of extensive experience in acute and general medicine across the WA hospital system.
He enjoys all aspects of general practice. His special interest lies in general medicine and the best practice management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, asthma and COPD and cancers. Other interests include geriatric medicine, skin cancer and minor procedures, shared pregnancy care and women’s health. He is trained in Implanon insertion and removal.
In his free time he plays futsal and enjoys water sports.
